From today, you can, for the first time, order the exclusive and wildest Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, which manages 0-100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds and has a torque of up to 860 Nm. The unique fully electric car has launched at the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. At the same time, online ordering of electric vehicles has opened up all over Europe.
The new Mustang Mach-E GT is made of something special. The electric car is Ford’s fastest accelerating five-seater car in Europe.
The new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT demonstrates the true potential for cars with fully electric powertrains that can easily create a “fun-to-drive” driving adventure. The Mustang Mach-E GT is a refined, five-seater SUV that can accelerate like a sports car without emitting emissions while driving.
With a battery of 99 kW, the car has a range of up to 500 km (WLTP). The two electric motors, four-wheel drive, advanced MagneRide chassis that adjusts to the driving conditions and a brake system from Brembo give the car superb driving characteristics. It also comes with a unique calibration, which means that even more of the torque is distributed to the rear wheels, which is not seen on the same scale as the other Mustang Mach-E models with four-wheel drive.
As you know from the Mustang Mach-E, it is possible to drive in three different driving programs. In addition, the new Mustang Mach-E GT has got a new driving program, “Untamed Plus”, which is developed to balance the car’s many forces and torque to get the best possible lap time on a race track.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is packed with equipment as standard. Exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels with details in high-gloss black, red brake callipers and black lacquered components on side mirrors and roof, sports steering wheel in delicious material and Ford Performance sports seats are just some of the equipment included.
Inside the electric car, you also get a standard 15.5-inch screen with Ford’s SYNC 4A system, several advanced driver assistance technologies such as a 360-degree camera and intelligent adaptive cruise control, a B&O Premium audio system with ten speakers that pampers your senses. There is plenty of space in the trunk with 402 litres, but should you still need a little extra space, you can use the car’s ‘frunk’ as an extra storage space of 100 litres under the radiator hood.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric car can be ordered in “Dark Matter Gray” and “Cyber Orange”. The model also comes with screen boxes in the same colour as the car and a grill in “Dark Matter Gray”. If you want a panoramic roof, it can be purchased.
The Mustang Mach-E GT’s 487 hp and a torque of 860 Nm guarantee a memorable driving experience. The electric sports car has almost 15% more torque than the exclusive race car Ford GT. The rear electric motor reaches the maximum torque of 860 Nm in just 0.5 seconds, while at the same time it gets help from the front electric motor, which ensures effortless acceleration, better manoeuvrability and good driving characteristics when the car cuts through sharp turns.
As something very special, the Mustang Mach-E GT electric SUV comes with adaptive shock absorbers in the form of the advanced MagneRide damping system, which is specially developed and adapted to European use. The system has a swift response to changing road conditions and surfaces. A unique fluid in the shock absorber chamber is electronically stimulated to provide more or less resistance in the damping, depending on both the ground and the selected driving mode. Sensors monitor the conditions a thousand times per second so that the optimal balance is achieved for the sake of dynamism and comfort.
The electric car also comes with Pirelli 245/45 R20 tires, which are specially adapted to the extra power. The ventilated Brembo brakes, with a diameter of 385 mm, are the largest brakes seen on a Mustang Mach-E model. In combination with the MagneRide damping system, this helps to ensure a particularly good grip.
The sporty and super equipped Mustang Mach-E GT has a price starting from 85,000 euros. The electric car can be ordered online. In other words, the electric SUV can be bought anywhere, anytime. This can be done at home from the sofa or with expert guidance from the local Ford dealer.
