Confidence is that important trait of a student’s personality which is needed for their academic career and their whole life ahead on a very necessary basis. Students have a lot of abilities through which they can conquer any kind of opportunity. Inducing confidence in the students makes them achievers. It is confidence which makes them acquire good marks or good position in the class and makes them face anything and anyone in the world. Teachers meet and interact with their students on a daily basis hence, they can induce confidence in their students in a very effective manner. - Most of the teachers can be found yelling and shouting at the students which is a very wrong method to deal with students. Teachers need to understand that by humiliating any student they can’t teach them anything. In fact, they will break their self-confidence and the students will never be able to ask anything and will remain weak. So, teachers need to understand the value of accepting mistakes of the students and instead of scolding the students, teachers should accept the mistakes made by students and encourage them to put their efforts in order to learn and get knowledge.
- Teachers can build their student’s confidence by one more method and that is appreciation. Not only students but adults also lose their inspiration of work when they do not get appreciation and praise according to their efforts and hard work they are doing. Hence, it is very necessary for the teachers that they should keep praising and appreciating the students for their efforts and hard work they do daily doesn’t matter whether they achieve first position or not, their efforts are important.
- Teachers need to show their students that they believe in them and to show their belief in them they should launch some projects and assignments in order to give them a chance to encash the opportunities to represent their creativity and show what innovative they can do too in order to contribute and show how efficient and hardworking they are, this opportunity given by teachers to their students make them well confident.
