I typically respond by explaining that it’s not just the number of Facebook fans & followers but the important level of engagement.

It’s true. It’s good to be more liked than the guy across the street.
Although I believe it’s important to have an engaged audience instead of one that looks at a large screen, I’m going to tackle that “get more likes” dilemma shortly.
Decide What Value You’re Offering
This is perhaps the biggest error I’ve seen agents make about social media.
Naturally, your mom and a handful of others will be interested in your website only because you’ve asked them to; however, you’ll have to add some benefit for the rest of us click here.

They really would like it.
They’re not getting anywhere else.

Always Explain What’s In It For Them
I’m annoyed when people ask me to assist them or “like” their FB page.

Create a Professional-Looking Facebook Page
One of the side effects of our daily lives becoming more complex is that design has become more crucial every day.
Particularly online, in a world where attention spans can be extremely short.
There is no time anymore to read books. Therefore, we make quick decisions by looking.
It doesn’t need to look impressive, but if the Facebook page doesn’t have photos of the cover or looks as if you created it using Microsoft Paint, you’ll lose people who might like your page if it had.
Hire someone from Fiverr or hire someone with skills in graphic design to create an attractive website for you.
Link to Your Page From Your Profile
It’s fairly simple: If you’re updating your Facebook profile on behalf of your employer of choice, ensure you select your company page.
After this, it should prominently include a link to that page in your account.
Select your agency’s page for captive agents, not the company’s.
Add a Like Box to Your Website
“Like Box “Like Box” is a tiny box you could incorporate into your agency’s website. It will display hyperlinks to Facebook pages, most recent status updates, and thumbnails of those who already follow your page.
The best aspect of the Like Box is that people can become fans of your Facebook page right on your site, without going off your website or to Facebook.
Additionally, when you have the number of followers you need and likes, the Like Box can show thumbnails of people who have liked your page to give social evidence.
Email Signature Link
There’s nothing too outrageous here. However, including the link to your Facebook page within your email signature will expose you to many people without much effort.
I’ve seen many agents already employing this strategy, but I do not see many good calls to action.
“Like Us” Cards
Print some business cards and include your Facebook page’s address and an extremely brief description of the reason why someone should be following your page.
They can be used in many ways since they’re easy to carry around and give out.
I’m sure certain agents will read this article and say, “But John, my Facebook page is already on my business card. Shouldn’t I be able to use that?”
No. It’s too crowded and lacks the proper appeal to that Facebook Page. No way anyone will ever be able to be a fan of your Facebook page because they noticed the business cards you advertise on.
Take Pictures of Community Events
Visit the local community events and take as many photographs as you can.
Please share with everyone who has a picture you took to locate it. It’s on the page of your FB page!
